Gents...

Hoarding does NOT extend to modeling.

It is better to have and need not..  than to need and have not.

As long as you can find it!  If you can't find it, you might as well not have it.  There's a lot of stuff in my closet that I forgot about or couldn't find when I needed it.

I dunno Dave....

Not being able to find something only means that you cannot intentionally lose something nor can you loan it out and forget who has it.

If you know you have something but canít find it at a particular moment, that means that it is really safe !!!

Sorry Dave ...  Iíve been working out these sorts of logics for a long time.

Well, I can't find my coupler height gauges (HO standard gauge or N for HOn30).  So I had to buy new ones, or let a bunch of car projects languish because I can't check coupler height (which I do before final finishing, as adjustments are hard on the finish and details.)  Replacements are due today.

Dave...

Thatís an easy one ...

They are all together after the last bench clean up in an Athearn blue box on a shelf where you would use them next on those awaiting cars.

See .....  simple

I knew where they were in the old house/old workshop!!  They disappeared when we moved.  I'm sure I'll find them at some point in a box I haven't unpacked yet.  (I have a bunch of boxes still packed up that have track or scenery in them.  They'll get unpacked when I actually start the new layout.)

I have found that the best way to find what I'm looking for is to go out and buy another one. You can never have enough tools!
