Get in the HO Scale Kit Business!
« on: July 10, 2017, 09:15:15 AM »
So I really have decided that making Hydrocal kits is just too much work for me. Of course, I don't make them, I have hired help do that. But you could do it!

The Ed Fulasz line, as well as a number of past Downtown Deco kits could be yours if the price is right! This is still a very profitable line to this day. I just can't keep up. Look at my website. I'm running 4-6 weeks behind.

You'll get the molds and masters to all these: http://www.railroadkits.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_6
I also have a large number of display dioramas that can be included.

Also 5 former Downtown Deco models rights, molds, masters:
Kit # 1 DD1018 Industrial Alleyway.
Kit # 2. DD1004 Fallberg Station.
Kit # 3. DD1017. Brick Enginehouse.
Kit # 4. DD1028 Coin Laundry.
Kit # 5. DD1043 World Travel.

You'll be instantly in business and selling kits. Guaranteed. Not enough to quit your day job, but a nice little side income.

Imagine the possibilities if this line was marketed on the west coast at shows where they've never seen these models?

Jimmy will tell you, the way to make a little money in this business is to start with a lot of money :-)

The Fulasz kits are really nice, and they deserve an aggressive marketing campaign.  I've seen some nice kit-bashes of them, too.

The Hydrocal business of Ed Fulasz will continue. Last week Doug Foscale came up and took the molds! He will continue the line. I expect great things from him. Even if you already have all of the kits, prepare to buy them again as Doug applies his own personal touches to the designs.

Thank you for all the interest in the Ed Fulasz line. I didn't expect so many to come forward with interest. There were a lot of great offers, but only one included horseback riding lessons on his new farm. (Yup. Doug, Queens NY city born & bred, bought the farm, so-to-speak.)

As for me, I have a few kits left on my website at a huge discount. Get them while you can.

Look forward to seeing what Doug will be doing with the kits.

Still happy for Jimmy though.

My offer to fix up the scanned instructions you were using (as I did for EF-13) still stands for Doug.
