Good Evening
« on: October 06, 2017, 08:29:43 PM »
Busy day.  Wife and I Went to the Stephen Stills and Judy Collins concert in Charlottesville VA last night.  Stllls gave a great exhibition of his skills and I felt carried the show.  Judy Collins appeared to conserve her voice in the beginning but then provided some real nostalgia at the end.  She declined to do Judy blues eyes said she was tired of it. All and all a great evening. We were in the 4th row.  Now back to trains  Jim

Too bad about "Judy Blue Eyes," my favorite CSN tune.

October 30th there will be a WMNF (best radio station on planet earth) memorial tribute to Tom Petty at the amazing Skippers Smokehouse in Tampa. Twenty plus bands will perform Petty songs.
Starts at 4pm till forever. 12 bucks in advance 15 at the door. Good food and beverages, free parking. This events are some of the best. See you there. I watched a Tavis Smiley show last night of a great interview with Tom Petty.
Also an other show with the incredible actor Willem Dafoe, talking about his new movie The Florida Project (Disney's rape of the Greater Orlando area). Getting great reviews. You may also enjoy the book by Carl Hiaasen ( a very funny dude) Team Rodent.
Everyone have a very nice weekend. Enjoy whatever your plans are.
