Good afternoon , same here Tom , coughing , sneezing and just not feeling well. Went to the spa this morning  hoping that would do me some good but it's only gotten worse. Back home now , I think I'll watch some TV and maybe work a bit on the layout.

Last week at Eurospoor I saw Lionel trains for the 1st time for real.

Weird.  I was just at a small local train show and they had one of those.  But it was an original production run and well used.  Never really thought much about the lack of Lionel in Europe.

Stocking up on Floquil rattle cans was a mistake!  This is the second one that has sprung a leak in the last couple of months.  What a mess.

This was at a large train show , about 20.000 visitors. I think europe is more into smaller scales and when someone is into large scale it's probably LGB which is far less toy like ( no offense meant ).
I love photo's, don't we all.

Have the same problem with a can of Krylon UV protector.
I've found taht the rubber gasket between the can and the diffusor have lost its elasticity a finally crack under pressure.

Just my two cents..

John......

I have found the product quality of the Floquil rattle cans to be extremely poor.   There is a reason that this company is a fallen flag.

As you have shown....... I too have had a lot of leakers.  Further, I've had mislabled colors and frequent failures of half or more full cans.

I replace my steam powered Binks Wren single stage air brush of 1960 vintage with a Paasche dual action.  It is so easy to use that I seldom go to my remaining small stock of rattle cans.  I have found Tru Color paints (Arizona) to be great.  They are not inexpensive but store VERY well and never have a problem of gluing the cap on.

I have sniveled previously about Floquil red and orange colors kicking off in the jars as they appear to have too much dryer in the formula.  I never have that problem with Tru Color.

Enough soap box.
