Sunday Sept. 3

Morning Crew!  Lots of rain this morning here in  Ct.  Getting ready for church, then indoor activities most of the day, which includes some train time.

Raining also in Reading country.
Church is on the agenda, some more "moving in", but there is (has to be) some train related goings on later in the afternoon.
Pleas don't forget that today is a national day of prayer for our fellow citizens who are suffering from the effects of Harvey.

Morning. No rain here yet but I'm sure it's on its way. The porch made it into the primer stage yesterday, I had to replace some trim and clap boards plus a trip to Lowe's ate up part of the day. I'm going to stick to some modeling today plus watch the Southern 500. B&M FT's, location unknown.

Howdy-ho, Forumites. Building an A&W Root Beer drive-in by GC Laser for an area railroader, today. First, the doggers and I are off to see the gray folks. Cheers!

Good morning!  Traveling day for me today - the Narrow Gauge was great - the organizing team did a great job. I will post some pictures when I have some time to process them. I managed to get to 12 of the 25 layouts they had open. I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend.

Morning all,
Just received a small part of the Harvey rain (1st hard rain since the workers finished the siding) and am a little aggravated at all the dirt splashed up onto the new sliding door, bay window, shed & siding.

But after watching all the real water damage and stains from Texas & Louisiana, I don't think I have a legitimate bitch yet! So with that I say, Have a nice day y'all!  Thanx Thom...

Afternoon all , it was a good day for golfing here , not a day for good golfing though. When you make a 13 on the first hole , a par 5 , all you want to do is go home again, I didn't , but I should have , not that it got worse then that , but my worst score ever was not far off.

What a beautiful scene from Mathieu Tremblay
I love photo's, don't we all.

Afternoon all,

I'm waiting until after my Sunday phone call to my mother before I start in on the yard.  Once I finish the yard work, weather permitting, I'll clean up and sit down at the workbench.  I'm closing in on the end of the Red Light District build.   ::)   It's been a long one.  I'm anxious to get started on something new.   ;D

Have a great one!

Good evening all; I got rained on today, but I was just out train chasing.  Alas, everyone on the sold-out trip got rained on too.  But pretty small on the catastrophe scale.

Dan, I can't place your photo.  Single track, tight quarters, what look like 5-6 story tenements in the background.  And the FT AB is MUed with an F-7 - not unique, but I've only seen a half dozen other photos of that combo.  The B&M didn't usually allow commercial buildings right next to the main track, but this coal dealer butts right up to what appears to be a wooden passenger station platform. So that's uncommon too - many had been paved with asphalt by the early '50s.  I can read 'Atlas" on the end of the building, but not the 2nd line of the sign.  Do you mind if I link this to a couple of B&M groups?
James
