Morning, all.

Looks like the Florida folks are right in the crosshairs of the storm.  Stay safe!  We could use a little rain here, it's so dry I didn't need to mow this week.

Morning all,

I'm ready too!  Wouldn't you know it?  I scheduled Monday as a day off a while back.  That's when we're going to get the worst of it.  Oh well, if the power (and the roof) stay on I'll spend the day working on models and won't feel guilty about neglecting the yard.   :D

Heads up Groovy and the rest of the gang just North of us!  It looks like we're going to send Irma your way when we're done with her.

Bowling starts tonight.  Hope I remember how to throw the ball.   ::)

Have a great one!

Good luck and best wishes to our compadres in Florida and the Carolinas.
Attempting to clear my part of the infamous "swamp" (read new residence) today. Dinner this evening with new model railroader acquaintance and his wife.
Stay dry, all.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Good morning all. The NH seacoast was overcast and wet at sunrise, but now I can see my shadow and it's getting dry enough to get back to this winter's firewood.  I got some ties placed last night, maybe I'll get as far as ballast this evening.

Good luck in FL; my eldest has a ticket to the west coast Sunday afternoon. I wonder if the airline will just change it, or if they'll make him spend the night at Logan first.  Any bets?

Morning all.

The part time shcool bus driving job has me working more hours than full time, the last 2 weeks.

Last Sat. at the NC Trans. museum, we pulled several restored cars out of the roundhouse, placing them for a back drop to a upcoming wedding. Now, with the hurricane possibility,  they all will be getting put back in the roundhouse. Not sure when the wedding is, but think the following weekend. So may not be enough crew on the week days to get it back out.

Be safe.

Afternoon to all...
Late check in today, overcast at 62 with no wind...thinking of spray painting a few items in the yard today...
Forum members who will be effected by the storm will be in our thoughts this weekend.
