Morning all,

I'll be flying from the warm country to the cold country later on this afternoon.  Should arrive in PA sometime this evening and then drive from Allentown to Enola to stay with my brother.  The memorial service for my Dad is Saturday morning in Mechanicsburg.  The burial will be Monday morning at Fort Indian Town Gap.  My father was a WWII vet.  He was in the Navy and served in the South Pacific during the war.  We return late Monday night so I scheduled a vacation day for Tuesday.  I plan on spending most of that day recovering at the workbench.  I think I'll need it by then.

I'll have access to the internet while I'm gone so I'll be checking in.  Just won't be able to do any modeling until I get back.

Have a great one!

Good evening, all, and wishing Bob as pleasant a journey as possible under the circumstances.  Seacoast NH had a sunny day that crept above freezing and melted a lot of last night's ice.  I made enough progress on volunteer stuff this morning that I was going to spend the afternoon on the layout.  But then a modeling friend dropped by, only a few days out of the hospital for blood clots in his lungs and with a lot more energy than he'd had in several years.  So we talked for three hours, most about his picture files of the Newburyport City RR I'm constructing right now.  Dinner and email done, time to catch up on what I'd planned to do this afternoon.
