Tuesday the 12th

Morning. So now the big storm is up in Jaime's yard getting his leaves wet. Glad to hear the people who took the brunt made out OK.

Morning All,

Irma's gone and it's back to the grind. Have to get an early start as I'm starting my day at the coastal Layout house. Good train progress on my stay-cation but could have been a lot more without Irma butting in.

Have a good day!

John

Morning all,

I'm back in the cube.  The cube has power.   :(  The house does not.   >:(  It was a bit exciting driving to work this morning.  Dark most of the way.  Dodging debris on the roads.  Drove smack into a rather deep puddle before I realized it was there.  A few traffic lights were out.  The only good thing was traffic was light.   ::)

Spend time cleaning up the debris in the yard yesterday.  Our corner of the neighborhood seems to have ended up with a lot of it.  Guess it's the way the winds were blowing at the end.  Lucky for me the damage was minimal.  I have to figure out how to reattach a gate/divider that had the screws holding the hinges ripped out of the wall.  Also had a small electrical box cover (for an A/C component) broken off it's hinges.  It snapped back in place and some duct tape will hold it there until the box can be replaced.

Have a great one!

P.S. My house is the middle one in the top picture.  The one missing the siding is two doors down from mine.

Morning, all.

Good to hear that our Floridian friends came through OK.  Haven't heard yet from Mr. Langford, though.  Here there's no rain for the third week in a row.

Good Morning All,

Today will be a cleanup day. I haven't been able to contact several people yet probably because phones and Internet services are really messed up.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Got power back at 11am Tuesday. No damage. A tribute to an Arthur Rutenberg home.
