We lost Bruce McCosh yesterday
« on: September 06, 2017, 01:01:01 AM »
Sad news...........  I knew this was coming and mentioned it yesterday in the baggage car section.

Bruce McCosh died on September 5th of a fast growing brain tumor.

I saw him several times over the last days and he had not lost his sense of humor through the think of it.

In the main he was a lurker on this forum but had been around for several years.

Bruce was our AP guru here in the 3rd Division of the Pacific Northwest region.  A job that he bequeathed to  me several weeks ago.

Bruce was the go to guy in the valley for weird DCC operations questions and programming of locomotives.  He has a settings roster for most every loco in town. I know all of mine are in there.

He charged nothing for aiding others in the hobby.  He just fixed stuff for any and all.  He has never lost sight that this is a hobby and nothing more.

He and I have been hanging around together for over 30 year and were just good friends.

Rest in peace my friend.

It's always sad to hear of the passing of someone who shared our interests even if we didn't know them personally.  Thoughts and prayers go out to Bruce, his family and his friends.   :'(
