Wednesday the 10th
« on: January 10, 2018, 06:35:29 AM »
Morning. We finally had some melting yesterday, now all the frozen broken pipes are thawing out and flooding basements. As Jaime used to say "Hope they don't have any cool toy trains down there"...

Morning all,
Remembering a bygone era.  Stay warm, dry or cool today where ever you are.  Thanx Thom...

Morning, all.

Nice picture of a boy and his trains.   :)  Have to go to the UPS store today.  Amazon didn't want me to return two non working light bulbs, but does want the sixty two pound broken concrete gargoyle back.   :o

Morning all,

Nice pictures of the Pennsy.

I did get some workbench time in last night.  Not much, be enough to make a gooseneck light for a light pole.  Every little bit of progress forward feels good.

Call me old fashioned but I'd much rather see a mixed freight train than an intermodal.   :P

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Great photos this morning.

It's raining here but I'm in the ground floor basement so I don't care. Neither does Jimmy Crack Corn.

Back to the treasure hunting.

Ya'll have a great day.

Good Morning All,

It's in the 70's and rain here today. Great Pennsy photos. Not sure if I will make it to the train room today, but I hope so.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning All,

Well, the heavens opened up last night with rain and lightening. Quite impressive light show. We really do need the rain out here. It might just really become a desert if the lack of rainfall continues. The wife and I have been busy taking down all the Christmas decorations. She really gets into decorating the inside of  house. I took down all the outside lights over the weekend. Now it is all the interior Nativity scenes. Off to the gym for an hour of exercise, then to the train room. I have been helping one of my friends improve a couple of building that he recently built. He wants to take them into the contest room at our next NMRA meet. Always glad to help someone improve their skills.

Have a great day.

Good afternoon. I'm sitting in the hospital waiting for my wife to recover from emergency appendicitis surgery.  All is well - I'm in charge of ice chips.  Spending the night in an ER is very strange - scary might be a better word. Hospitals are great to have when you need them.  I hope everyone is having a great day.

John,
Sorry to hear about momma.  I'll say a prayer for a quick recovery brother.  Thanx Thom...
