Marvelous Jim!  Love the lighting.  I know how much extra time/effort it takes to add lighting, but I'm hooked on it.  I blame Slim for that.   ;)

Nice work on the roofing.  I picked up an idea to try so thanks for that too.  That's an interesting structure you're modeling.  The photos of the stack and structure are great too!

Wow!  Beautiful scene coming together there.  Top notch modeling on the structures and boats.  Terrific work on the scenery.  Thanks for sharing.

Morning all,

Hmmm...."Wednesday the 13th".  That sounds like it has the makings of a really bad horror movie.

I need to mow the lawn over my lunch hour today.  I should clean out the gutters too.  Think I'll save that chore for Friday.  I have an extension with a curve at the end for my pressure washer.  That way I don't have to get up on a ladder.  It's messy though.  I'll get a shower in the process.

No workbench time until Friday. >:( I do hope to make up for my recent lack of progress this coming weekend.

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

Been a busy morning.  Back-to-back meetings with meeting invites arriving while I was in those meetings for meetings that were starting immediately.   :o  Enough is enough!  No mas!

No workbench time recently.  I need to do something about that.  ;)

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Just another workday.  Only six more Mondays to go.  Unless I accept the offer, I received last week to stick around longer or work part time beyond my retirement date.  I'm 95% sure my answer is going to be "Thanks, but no Thanks" on that one.

Nothing noteworthy to report from the workbench.  Last week's home renovation, along with the subsequent cleanup efforts, took me away from the workbench.

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

Had a great time at the SBG meeting yesterday.  Afterwards, I swung by the local hobby shop and picked up various sizes of strip wood to replenish my supply.  I burned through a lot of what I had building Red Hook Wharf.  Today's project involves breaking out the pressure washer and getting wet.

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

I want to hear about the Ireland trip when you get back John!  Enjoy yourself.  It's one of the things on our bucket list.

Working today so no workbench time.  Heading down to Tom's tomorrow morning for the SBG gathering.  Always a good time.

Have a great one!

Morning all,

The window installation is almost complete.  They're installed but waiting on the inspection.  After the inspection trim/molding will be added to complete the project.  Whew....now we're ready for the heavy rain.  It's much easier installing windows in HO scale structures.

Nothing to report on the workbench front.  No shock there.  Still working for a living but not for long.   ;)

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Sitting here in a meeting while the guys continue the window installation in the house.  Hopefully they'll be done today.  I'll have to hang some new blinds when they're finished.  Can't wait to get the house back to normal so I can get back to the workbench.

Have a great one!

Morning (barely) all,

We had a nice weekend at a B&B in Mt. Dora.  Today the new window installation has begun.  They aren't Tichy and I haven't seen any giant sprue cutters.  At least not yet.  While staying out of their way I took the time to apply for Social Security Benefits.   :)

Have a great one!

Good morning,

Hope the health issues are behind both of you.  Yes, I've had spells where the time and opportunity to sit down at the workbench presented itself but, alas, I failed to take advantage of the situation because I simply didn't feel like working on whatever project I had going at the moment.  I guess it happens to everyone at some point.  Although, judging by how productive some of the other forum members are, maybe it happens more to me than others.   ;D

Today is my Friday.  Four-day weekend on tap but there will be little opportunity for workbench time.  The better half and I are headed to Mt. Dora tomorrow to spend a couple of days in a B&B.  We'll return Sunday.  Then the crew is coming on Monday to install new windows in the house, so I'll be busy moving things out of the way so they can access the windows.

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Hope you feel better soon Dave.

Just another workday on this end.  Meetings (won't miss 'em) on how we can work better across a large company.  Yada, yada, yada.  Nothing on the workbench front to report.

Have a great one!

Morning all,

It is a "MONDAY" for me.  Fortunately, I'm getting closer to where they'll all be Saturdays.

This past weekend was kind of a waste (even though it was a three-day weekend).  I missed the gathering at Tom's place on Saturday.  :( Between allergies acting up along with other things that needed to be done I only got to spend time at the workbench on Sunday.  Almost done with the wharf portion of Red Hook though.  The land based portion is next.

Have a great one!

Morning all,

The Miners Union Hall is looking good, Dave!

Off today.  I'm in the process of getting my paperwork organized to send to my buddy who does my taxes.  That'll take me a little while.  I like to make sure I have copies, or access to the stuff on-line, in case it gets lost in the mail.

Have a great one!
