Suggest you email the The Reading Company Technical and Historical Society through their website and see if they have any members who could host. Would also contact the NMRA MER and the adjacent Region to seek volunteers.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

I googled Scranton  Model railroad , and it came up with Jeff Mutters Erie Lackawanna Scranton Division, I have no idea if that's in the vicinity.
I love photo's, don't we all.

I wouldn't limit the radius to 30 miles, it is great to have a stop or two on the way in and on the way home.

Robert,
I had a brief Facebook chat with a guy at the University of Scranton last PM who said, when I gave him the Expo link, "I've talked to those guys". I didn't ask specifics, but it sounded as if he was waiting to hear from one of the Expo honchos.

Jeff's layout is very nice. And he's a great modeler and has been over to operate on my layout a couple of times. The one thing he's NOT is close to Scranton - he lives in Maryland not too far from Annapolis.

That was what I was afraid of Marty, like myself I model the Rock Island and Santa Fe in Kansas , but live on the other side of the Atlantic.
