Not quite sure where to place this, so best to put this here ...

Toma  Model Works from Japan has recently released a beautiful kit of a narrow gauge 0-4-0 Porter locomotive. It's an HOn30 kit with a metal chassis and injection moulded parts for the body.

The good thing is that he also offers a static model with injection moulded parts for both the chassis and body:

... which is of course a great item to be place on a diorama. Something like this for example ...

The kits can be ordered directly from Toma Model Works.
According to the instructions, the static kit should not be that difficult to build.

Very cool. It looks like it comes to around $162 USD.

Yep, and the static model is about $40 USD.

That's a beauty. It makes me excited to see more HOn30 offerings...it's a tremendous scale/gauge with the same traits that made On30 explode...just a matter of having more equipment available for purchase. If not for Minitrains, I wouldn't have made the jump (that I always wanted to)...this is really encouraging!

thanks for sharing...John
