Morning all.....up north looking day in the sunshine state. As they said in the 60's, bummer!
The end of the week is here and we have a whole weekend ahead and not a single plan, except Pegi has already made a dinner reservation for Sunday so she can get her fix of rainbow trout.
I finally might get around to starting the clean-up of the layout and the work bench area in the hobby room.
I'll see if I can get motivated to finish a leftover project or maybe start with something small, before the owner of a construction management project I'm getting ready to begin work on decides he's in a hurry to get things started.
Y'all have a great day and have some fun.....

Morning all.....almost thought we were going to have to build an ark yesterday. It rained from mid morning yesterday till after midnight.
A huge, very slow moving storm came up from South Florida and is drenching GA, SC, NC and is moving into VA.

Got to go to the dealership and have the car's computer checked. It keeps putting up all sorts of messages about having things serviced and dire warnings, lights up like a Xmas tree, then disappears.

A question for Jim or Craig.....
I notice that after I post a comment and go back to it to correct a mistake the same day I can hit the modify button and make a change. But, if I go back to one that was posted on previous days the only options are to "quote" or "report to moderator".
How to I get into older posts to make changes in the text or add a photo?

Another gray, up north type day here in Florida. Haven't seen the sun in a few days and it kind of reminds me of the Northeast and upper Midwest.
Have a house in Melbourne Beach to work on, but still waiting for the structural drawings.

News from "The Babe".....at midday, the surgeon told Pam that all went well with Tom's surgery. He is still in ICU, but is responsive and should be moved to surgery monitoring later tomorrow.

I need an idea of the places (layouts, hobby shops, prototype exhibits, etc.) to see around the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

Layout Tours / The Carolwood Pacific - The Layouts of Walt Disney
October 01, 2021, 08:25:13 AMThe mouse is celebrating 50 years of his theme parks and the lead up to today has been in the local newspaper for months. I thought I'd post a couple of videos about Walt's background in model railroading.
The first is a film of the small layout mock-up of the intended live steam railroad he built in his yard and the second is the actual live steam layout.
Amazing what a little money and an imagineering department in your company can do for a model railroad.
