The "Challenger" sounds great after you programmed in those equalizer values Jan. ;)

Jan,

Wow, what a difference in the sound just by changing the CV values. I'm convinced and will try it on my HO MTH Challenger.

Thank you Bob for the values on the CV's!

No problem Jan. If you need more help with N scale steam, let me know.

Jan,

Thank you Bob for the values on the CV's!

You're welcome Tom.... Those values should work on your "Challenger" with a few minor adjustments. :) ;)

This was a very interesting demonstration of the differences in sound by changing the settings - thanks for sharing it.  A whole new area for me to learn about - the hobby is always presenting something new.

This is what I plan for the upper deck in room 2, with the crossing at the station and an exchange between the UP and the Rock Island.

Here it is in Anyrail. The question is , will this be very difficult to wire?

Hi,
wow, that will be a great scene when it will be finished and with your love to the detail...

I don´t know if it´s difficult to wire it but it looks a bit complicated......

Cheers,Chris

Thanks , we're trying to figure out how we can get the depot a bit further away from the backdrop , we think either place the track somewhat inward or place the depot in one of the triangles and build a pedestrian bridge.

Red to Red and Black to Black - unless you wanna go back'ards!!!  ;D ;D ;D

The station looks so impressive head on, I don't think it would look as good turned around on the other side of the track.  As for wiring, you'll need a reverser for the inside of the 'Y'.  Otherwise I don't think there are any wiring issues.

Thanks Jeff, I too think this is the best side of the station , so I'm leaning to just move it 2 inches inward, and of course I could still install a pedestrian bridge.
