And I am remiss in not also thanking Jim Donovan for his efforts as well in getting this site back up for us all to enjoy and share our model railroading efforts and adventures!

So thanks you to both Jim and Craig, very much appreciated,
Okay back to our regularly scheduled programming,

Good Day All,
It is good to be back and seeing many friendly faces/voices !!
Happy birthday Craig and thanks for your efforts in resurrecting our virtual sandbox, I sure have missed the camaraderie here.  And a happy birthday to you as well.
Hope all are well and I'm looking forward to seeing what all have been up to.
Also nice to see that Bob (ReadingBob) is still gainfully employed.  Sure wouldn't want him retiring to far ahead of me !
All the best,
--Paul

John, just a beautiful job on that roof !!
I had the opportunity and pleasure to visit with Bob Van Gelder earlier this week.  He is doing well and loves seeing others creativity on his structures and kits.  He noted that roof on the Hooker & Son building was his most challenging to design and create.   You have certainly done this justice !!
Keep up the wonderful work and I'll be following along,

Sometimes the planning phase is as much fun as the actual build !!
Love your approach John, and like you, I often build a structure multiple times in my head while jotting down 'build' notes before any glue or paint hits the actual model.
Looking forward to see what you come up with for this classic kit and how it comes together !!
All the best,

Kit Building / Re: FOS Yard Office Three Build

Very nice build Bob, as per your usual !!
The stone and wood structures play nicely off of each other, and your paint scheme compliments the look.
The exterior lighting adds a wonderful touch as well.
I've got this one on the shelf and will refer back to your thread when I get to tackle mine.
All the best,
--Paul

John,
Fantastic modeling as always ...
And I'll echo Jeff's comment, always amazed at how you plan and execute (juggle) multiple projects seamlessly !!
Great stuff and love how your rendition of Sayles Mill is coming along, splendid !
All the best,

Thank you Bill really appreciate the updates,
And great to hear that Tom is doing well and in good spirits.

I'm gonna go out on a limb with regards to Tom being back in the shed in 6 weeks; I'll take the under on that bet.

All the best,
--Paul

John,
More great work being accomplished on the S&S !!
As for your question on the construction paper, you can look for acid-free, lignin free, and stable construction paper at art supply stores.   All paper will eventually fade from sunlight but these will tend to fade less and more slowly ...
Keep up the great work !!
