This collection of photos would make one hell of a coffee table book!!!!

S&S RR

Well - I'm back from my photo shoot and now have another 5380 photographs of the F&SM to process and post. I spent 2 full days with George photographing and discussing the layout.  I had a great time and want to thank George for giving me the opportunity to photograph his wonderful layout. The quality of the photographs from this second shoot are much better, thanks to some new technology and lessons learned from the first time I photographed the F&SM in 2013. As I pointed out in this thread,  many of the closeups of structures are digital zooms from larger photographs.

I have decided that this thread will now come to and end after one lap around the layout. I will cross reference the structures photographed here in the new thread, so anyone using these threads for reference will have access to all the available photographs of a particular structure.

I didn't want to put these older photos on John's new F&SM thread but they are worth looking at none the less. Very interesting how the layout has changed over the years and for the better of us all.

I got most of these from a prior visitor of the F&SM when the photos were being made available through Ebay. This was long before any forums were posting photos.

Some of these were sent to me by other modelers and I don't remember whom they were so I can't give them credit.

I did't take any of these photos and if I'm stepping on anyone I'm sorry. I remember what my father used to say, "Don't be mad at me, I'm an old man"!

These next few are from 1987.

Barongould Tannery - I don't remember seeing this on the last visit.
