Kit Building / FSM Sawmill kit 170
February 16, 2018, 12:34:30 PM
strarting on sawmill kit and have a few issues, missing woods parts which I can deal with.  The instructions mention a separate sheet about landscaping around the mill.  Was wondering if if anyone has a copy of this info.  Also was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what to use for sawdust and woodchips.  Any info is appreciated. Thanks Scott H

Lighting Your Model / goose neck lights
April 14, 2017, 08:31:12 AM
I am adding some goose neck lights to some structures.  These are the one with nano LEDs in HO scale that have the tiny tiny magnet wire attached .  Was looking for any tips on the best way to attach them to the bus power in the building that powers the other LED*s,  that wispy magnet wire is making me nuts  thanks

Don't know if you have chosen the trim color yet but my choice is the grey on the right it just seems to blend with the rock color best

Would like that but in single axle. I model Maine Central and state of Miane had a restriction on dual axle trailers for many years not sure when they changed it. Scott H

Enjoying this build Raymo. I always have trouble cleaning the flag from the tires will try your technique.  I think you should reserve a Hummer Limo for the next Expo. Scott H

Kit Building / Kit directions
March 24, 2016, 07:47:30 AM
I have been building several structure kits lately and have come to conclusion that many times it's not how complex the kit is ,its the quality of the instructions that makes the difference.  I suspect writing good instructions is as hard as designing a good kit and I salute those who have good instructions
