Hi All:

Been working on Bunkhouse 2. Walls are are done and door and windows are installed. Not many replies. Hope it isn't to boring for you guys.

Working on Bunkhouse 2. Almost done. Hopefully photos tomorrow.

Hi All:

Both bunkhouses are finished. Bunkhouse # 2 doesn't have much detail against it as it goes on the ground around it. I decided to go with  rolled roofing to give it some  variety. Hope it looks ok.

Beautiful work, Karl. The variety in roofing works well to distinguish them. I think it also balances them out--makes each one distinct.

I think you did a fantastic job getting the wood to look very realistic. I always like greyish wood that just aged over time and you can still see the woodgrain.

As for different roofs, this is even better because as times change materials, styles, and methods change. I love to show additions to buildings by changing the roof style.

The red rolled roofing makes a nice contrast.  I like the old pallet steps.
