I spent the last couple of weeks building this little scratchbuild. It was instigated by the recent challenge build associated with the HO Scale Customs Podcast and associated community. It fits within the perimeters of the challenge(barely), but grew to become an homage to one of my favorite buildings on the F&SM. The building, located along the Northfield river, was once the Pratt and Lambert building, but is now Hilton's Fishing Dock. Mine is similar as a frame structure on top of a stone arch, but I allowed for my own creative juices, combined with the restrictions defined by the challenge, to design and build the rest. I hope you all enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed building it.

A beauty for sure, Matt. Did you build the stone walls with individual stones?

Thank you, Bob and Vince.

Vince, the stone walls were made using some molds that I made a couple of years ago. I built the masters and now, with the molds, I can make as many as I like. I used a similar technique as Roger did in this thread: http://www.modelersforum.com/index.php?topic=2769.0

Nice job Matt
I think I read somewhere that George had used the original to cover a switch machine-any truth to that rumor. Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected - stay safe
