Title: Red Hook Wharf
Post by: craftsmankits on December 15, 2020, 09:55:04 PM
Don't know if it's crazy, and I'm sure some of you were watching, but it's the most I've ever seen a kit sell for.

Fos Scale Models Red Hook Wharf  $987.00

I was watching too.

Whilst I never would've bid anywhere near that, I must say I expecting it to go for more — given its track record.

I saw a South River Modelworks stone roundhouse go for $1,200. Or maybe I dreamt it. Nevertheless, at this prices do these ever get built?

A SRMW Brick Roundhouse sold on Ebay for $909.77 today, January 3rd.  I expected it to clear one thousand.  Almost $400 for the SRMW Sayles Mill.  Which I thought was pretty healthy.  Good day for the seller.  Fos Scale's Dead Horse Bay sold for $490 with a buy it now as well.  It's nice to see good prices for these kits.  I'm sure most of us have plenty of kits in a holding pattern.

I was watching the Red Hook, too.  I'm trying to decide if I want to sell mine. I remember a day when a FSM Brambell's was going for $1200. Not even close now.
