News from "The Babe".....at midday, the surgeon told Pam that all went well with Tom's surgery. He is still in ICU, but is responsive and should be moved to surgery monitoring later tomorrow. :) :) ;D

Latest Bulletin.....Tom is recovering well, other than being a bit uncomfortable with the last tube that will be removed today.

He was moved into a regular room, with a beautiful view of the lake, from ICU yesterday.

NEWS FLASH.....a much less stressed out "Babe" said he didn't need to go into non critical cardiac ICU so they sent him directly to a regular hospital room and all the tubes are out so he is much more comfortable.

More heart guys than normal are visiting because he is so far ahead in recovering and are amazed by his speedy recovery. He told them it is due to clean living and no smoking or drinking. They laughed and told him he will most likely be released, ahead of time, by this coming Monday. ;D ;D ;D

EXTRA EXTRA.....Just chatted with Tom and he sounded great. Recovering slowly, but making progress each day, although he said he walked a bit too much this morning and caught heck from Pam for pushing it.

He had me laughing so hard about the indignities he had to go thru in the hospital and talked about all the stuff they did to him. He said he'll be back on the forum and let y'all know some of the details soon.
