Late check in here.

Today we launched the new kits... two brick structures that are quick but quality builds.

Check them out here: https://keepitrusty.com/ho-scale/

Ah, yes. Can be a trip hazard! Thanks for letting me know.

Great looking kits Rusty and no joints at the corners that need to be covered with weeds or downspouts.  8)

You're absolutely right. Actually one of the reasons I embarked on these ones! Thanks Greg, and to all that commented!

I'll try this again. My first post was up and then it vanished.

Have a safe and healthy day ya'll.

Tom

Tom, not sure what happened here. I'll look into it though. Thanks for reporting.

Morning all.

The weekend is here.

I am working towards the release of two of my smaller, "affordable but never compromising" kits -- which will be available to order next week from my website (found below, if interested). These are a single piece 3D-print, which only needs the walls painting and the roof adding. Simple yet effective! Both of these dioramas took just two-three evenings to complete. The structure itself was a single evening.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Can't quite believe it is March already...

I am working on two small kits for my "Keep It Simple" lineup. They should be available fairly soon.

I hope you all have a good day/weekend.

Morning all.

Jim, I've been under the weather for just over three weeks, but I'm nose up... outta the dive now. I hear you when it comes to finding the energy after such a spell. It's tough. Let yourself feel better then start something really small. Something you can start and finish in a single sitting. This is the key to finding the drive again.

Howdy all. Figured I should check in.

Spent the past week in Poland visiting family. Always a pleasure... but this time me and the kids got sick (heavy colds) the day we landed. Still trying to rid it now.

Meanwhile, the queue at the bench is getting longer and longer.

Most of the previous members have already found their way back.

It's a matter of education -- letting folks know the doors are open again. All accounts have been fully restored and anyone who would like to access their previous accounts can (and for those that have difficulty can simply email me or Jim Donovan)

To combat spam user signups (we've had a few recently), I have switched to admin approval when registering. Until we reach significant signup traffic, this will be the most effective way of moderating who's in or who's out.

Anyway, between my day job and some other recent business, I continue to make way on my upcoming kit offerings. I'm very excited to share them all soon.

I hope you all have a good day.

Some great replies here already.

I own both filament (PLA) and resin (SLA) printers. They both serve specific tasks.

Filament is perfect for printing accessories I may need around my shop. Be it a sorter box, vacuum adapter, painting handle... you name it. It's the perfect tool for the job.

For all my detail parts that I include in my dioramas and kits, that's where resin comes in. SLA cannot be beaten for resolution here.

Elegoo is an excellent brand. The Mars lineup are true workhorses.

As Jim mentioned, there are many sites to source files from. Sometimes they are fit for purpose, other times not. You may find it frustrating sourcing what you really need. With that in mind, first learning CAD software is the first real step. Teach a man to fish and all that. Tinkercad is an excellent, free and easy to learn tool to get started.

Good morning all.

For the past week, I have been battling a severe case of tonsilitis. I'm on the backend of it now, thankfully.

I hope you are all well.

I have finished my new shop here now, so I'll be back to making kits again very shortly.

I have opened a new board here on the forum called "Modeling Wizardry". It can be found just below "Dioramas" on the main index. This board is exclusively for all things laser cutting, 3D printing... model tech!
