Good morning!  It looks like I may have to file for an extension on the build challenge this year.  I will see how it goes when I get back to some modeling later in the week.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Sorry for your loss. They will live on in your memories.

Update:  Life has been getting in the way of my modeling the past few weeks.  I have managed only a couple hours here and there.  I hope to get back at it later this week.

Good morning! Life is still getting in the way of modeling but I hope to change that later in the week. Our weather is nice and warm, 70's yesterday, with some April showers.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Good evening! And Happy Easter. Late checkin from the Northern Hqtrs. of the S&S RR.  My Grandson asked me if we could go up North and open the cabin, "now that GiGi has gone to heaven".  I have been telling him we couldn't go up North because I had to go see his Great Grandmother in the hospital. Actually, my Brother and I were the only ones that could see her in the hospital with the MI Covid restrictions. He was very understanding for a 4 year old, but coming up here is very healing for all of us. So we spent the day making a new trail through the woods with the tractor. I hope everyone had a great Easter.

Good morning!  I got a little bench time in, yesterday.  I hope to do the same today. Great to hear that Dan is painting vehicles. ;D  I'm working on the challenge build, I have a lot of work to do before the 15th.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Here is a process photograph.  I completed the rafter tails and have the front half of the roofing on the axillary buildings.

The question of the day, can I finish this by the 15th of April.  Uncle Sam gave us an extension on our taxes do we get the same extension for our build challenges??? :-[

Coming on a treat, John!

Cheers, Mark.

Mark

Thank you, I'm getting back on this build today after my two weeks away from the workbench. I need the therapy.

John:

I really love that chicken coop.

Karl

Thank you, my friend.

You had to position that chopping block for all those poor birds to watch on? What a cruel maker you are!

Craig

Actually, when that chopping block is being used the chickens would all be in the coop. Especially after the farmer chased down the chicken heading for the dinner table.

Awesome pics, John!  Love the peacock and the landing bird on the implement.  Great farm scene.

Thank you for kind encouraging words. Now, it's on to my next build.

For those that like the chicken coop area, here are a few closeup pictures showing some of the details.  This area is right at eye level and close to your nose when you are looking at the layout so I gave it a few more details. Those of you that have lived or worked on a farm will notice that we captured the reality of life near the chicken coop.
