That concludes my bit of old-time railfan fiction.  Haying and volunteering at Seashore Trolley Museum (near Kennebunkport, ME) have me pretty busy, but I should be able to get  F&SM 838075 to the proper interchange in the next day or two.

John,
Haven't heard anything on the F&SM hopper car in a while.  Hope it wasn't lost in a derailment somewhere.  Where's it at these days and is it traveling to other great layouts and dioramas' some more?  Thanx Thom...

Thom

The F&SM hopper is currently in a yard hold, awaiting orders, in the Eagles Nest Yard on the Superior & Seattle RR. I plan to take it to the NG Convention next week where it will end up traveling on the layout tours.

The Hopper made an appearance in the latest issue of Great Model Railroads. See Frank Baker's layout.

Since it's been more than a year since the hopper has been requested I will be packaging it up and sending it home to the F&SM.  Thank you George for opportunity to host the hopper on my layout and also I thank you for all of the other forum members that participated. This has been a fun project.

Here is the final list of layouts.

1. George Sellios on the Franklin & South Manchester

3. Dick Ewell's - Hoosac Valley
4. John Siekirk's  - Superior & Seattle
5. Tom Langford's -  Atlantic & Southern

6. Greg DeMayo's - St. Louis and Denver RR
7. Bill and Kris Cutler's - The Pennsy, Six miles west of Altoona
8. Frank Baker's - Morristown & Erie Railroad - Western Division

9. Karl Scholz - A special build.
10. Bob Parish's - Boise Nampa & Owyhee
11. Jim Mueller - New Haven
12. Art VanDeWater's - Winona & Southwestern RY Co.
13. Mike Engler - Minnesota
14. David Gallaway - The land down under.15.  Dr. Jeff - Hawkeye Country
16. Frank Baker's - Morristown & Erie Railroad - Western Division

This thread is now closed.

Update 11/27/18: I reopened the thread to add the B&M Eastern Route to the list.  Sorry James operator error.
