Saturday 12-28-19
« on: December 28, 2019, 06:30:07 AM »
Good morning.

2020 is just about here.

Plan to post about what I have been working on the past few weeks, and need to clear up bench for the Challenge build :)

FWIW, there are several Ed Fulasz kits newly listed on ebay (Not by me). I've bid on a couple I have been wanting. I'd bid on more, but I think what the seller wants for shipping (13.75) is on the too high side. Especially to my address, being in the same state.

Be safe, all.

Jim

Bring on the new year! Can you all believe it is almost 2020 ?! Why it seems it was only yesterday when we all were freaked about the new millennium and the end of the world....

Rain here. Still have company from out of town for Christmas break.

Later.

nice photo Jaime!
I'm with you Jim on shipping charges. $11.50 shipping for a $15.00 box car on Ebay was a deal breaker for me.
The Springfield Show is getting closer, time to buy my tickets!
Weekend off is nice, my job is interfering with my modeling time.... 2020 did come fast, 10 more years until I don't have to work full time! per diem work will be wonderful!
trying to choose a kit for the build challenge.....

Foggy in Philly environs this morning.
House full of gk's today and into tomorrow. With entertaining them a high (wife's), priority, guess my day is pretty well laid out.
Keep smiling and don't forget that list of Resolutions you're going to break starting Thursday.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Morning all,

If I get back from breakfast with Junior in time I think I sneak on down to Tom's to check out the reforestation that was done on the A&S earlier this week.   ;)  Game night tonight.  Some workbench time in between.  I love Saturday's.   :D

Have a great one!

Morning everyone

A partly sunny/40 here in South Jersey.  Later on 50.

Not sure what's on the agenda today.

Hopefully time enough to clean up my work space and figute what is next that I want to build.

Everyone have a wonderful day!  :)

Good Morning All,

Started raining last night and still raining.  The west side of town is not getting a heavy rain but it isn't a mist either. I'm ready for it to stop.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good evening! I spent the day again at the hospital with my mother.  She seems to be getting better with new meds. The meds she was using for high blood pressure created a blocked circuit in her heart. They worked for 30 years but decided to react differently at her age. It created all the symptoms of a stroke but luckily there is no brain damage. The plan is to bring her home with my wife and I for awhile to make sure she is alright. We have to take good care of our moms - right Dan.  She sure wants to live on her own again. Anyway, it's been a tough couple of weeks.  Looking forward to seeing the layout again soon.  I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays.
