Using the SIP to catch on sleep.
Home Owners Assoc. changed trash collectors this week. The HoA sent out specific instructions, only use the old vendors bins this week and then they will be picked up when emptied. Use new bins this week and put them out for collection next Thursday. Sure enough, one of our neighbors must have been using their SIP time to clean the basement. Put all four bins out this AM overflowing with trash. And we're trusting these same folks to follow instructions on how to fight the virus? Sheeeesh!!
Surprise! Not much else going on.
Stay healthy.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Washed both cars this morning. Very quiet but sunny today. Everybody is distancing themselves. The death toll in the UK has halved overnight so the end maybe in sight. I hope so. Stay safe everyone!

Good morning.  It looks like working at home means sleeping in this morning. I'm ready for my coffee - I plan on spending the day in the train room. I hope everyone has a great day.

Morningish,

Got a call from Dr. last night at 11:00 to confirm a prescription renewal. (Do not ask why!) Also to make sure we stayed inside because if we get CPVID-19 I have a 1 in 25 chance of dying, my wife has a 1 in 10 compared to my daughter who has a 1 in 5000 chance.

Sobering thoughts for the day!

I fire up the computer around 6 to start work, then get focused on that and usually forget about wishing all a good day here until late in the AM.  Relatively early today to think about joing in.

Sunny this morning in SE PA.  Light frost when I woke.

Stay separated, will you?

A beautiful Spring day here in South Jersey sunny/48.  Later on 60.

Painting kitchen cabinets and takin my time its a three coat process.  One primer then two finish coats.
The drying time is like watching paint dry!!

Everyone have a great day!!  :)
And stay safe.

Good afternoon, all,

We're on spring break, but parents don't respect that. Had to go online to pull old report cards and send to a parent.  But we're a private school and tuition is our lifeblood.  Gotta keep them happy. Especially since the school closures may last longer and they may start wondering if private schooling is worth it.

Still, can't complain. The medical office my wife works at laid off about half their staff yesterday--she avoided being cut loose. At least we both still have paychecks. Our state is still on the "doubling each day" list and the deaths are getting closer.

My wife said this reminds her of the Three Mile Island disaster.  She's right--there's that same eerie, uneasy feeling in the air and no one knows what will happen next. TMI is only a few miles from our house and we were newlyweds when it nearly melted down in '79.  I guess we dodged that bullet, and we'll dodge this one, too.

Time for some relaxation in the train room.
Take care, everyone.  :)

Same thing here Jerry.  6 a.m. to start and get sucked into issues almost immediately.  Only difference is I'll be doing this a lot longer than you.   :P

Hey, Opa George.  I remember TMI.  I was attending Penn State Capital Campus at the time.  When leaving the campus using the main road we had a great view of the reactor buildings.  I also worked for a bank in the Harrisburg area as a part time teller.  Got a lot of extra hours in when that happened.  We were short staffed in every location and folks were coming in, withdrawing cash and getting the heck out of dodge.

Have a great one and stay healthy!

Props to you, Dockman--gotta respect that. My dad sold shoes at Pomeroy's until the mid-1960s. I loved going downtown to shop. I was never more proud than the year my mom decided I was old enough to ride the #8 bus by myself to downtown.
