Good morning Tom and all of the sleep-ins.  Rain on & off today, so I better stay indoors and work on something train related.

Morning, all.

I'm ten pounds lighter after getting my haircut yesterday.   :)  I'm up and getting ready for work (short day 9-3 today).

Morning. Still can't get to Raymo North so I'm home. There's plenty to do around here both inside and out. Maybe I'll drive thru Pee-bitty Square to see if it's still there.

Good morning.

Raining here.  Going to drive to my friend Jim's (whiskeyriver) later this morning.  Planning to sit on his front porch and visit while maintaining a social distance.  That's about it from here...

Good morning.  I'm working on the railroad today.  I finished planting all the grass seed that I had (I will need to buy more). My muscles are a bit unhappy with we this morning. I'm moving kinda slow at the Junction. I hope everyone has a great day.  Stay safe.

Top of the morning to all.

Rain started yesterday afternoon and continued through the night and thus far today in SE PA.  Humid of course.  Gets hot now

Didn't get grass cut with running around yesterday.  Will maybe need to bale it Sunday or Monday.

Getting phone calls and emails now about friends and friends' families losing out to Covid.

Good Morning All,

Not sure what's happening today.  Daughter's refrigerator died last night and SIL may need help picking up a new one.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning All,

Hoping for some good train work this weekend. I've been patching and plugging and hot-gluing rocks to the hardshell and, sadly, last night I had to tap out and recognize that I'm just out of Bragdon chemicals and if I keep "making it work" with the scraps I have on hand - I will regret it. So I placed an order last night for more foam stuff so I can get back to casting in place properly.

Boat day today with a few friends but far from the maddening crowds...we'll make a quick U-turn if needed. We need to venture out but I think a lot of us in Florida haven't felt COVID-19 up close and personal like my family and friends in NY. People largely are ignoring the whole thing as if it'll just go away. I hope they're right. If not, Florida may be the big epicenter of the next wave and the population profile doesn't bode well for a happy outcome for many. Don't mean to be a bummer...but it is!

Some beautiful work being done on the threads lately, I've mostly been in-n-out but kudos implied!

Have a good weekend...John

Morning all,

Looking forward to a longer weekend than normal.  Planning on a fair amount of workbench time over the next three days.

I have two weeks (plus two days) of vacation coming up in early June and I'm thinking about putting together the frame for a 2' by 4' module that I can use as the basis for a start of a little switching layout that can be incorporated into something bigger someday.  No track plan yet but I want to incorporate Red Hook Wharf along with some other waterfront structures into it as well as some Seaport Model Works ships.  Before I do any of that, however, I need to clean up the clutter in the garage and make space for it.   ::)   It can get pretty darn hot out there in June so maybe I may end up quickly retreating into the comfort of the A/C instead.   ;D

Have a great one!

Best of luck with your module venture. I know just how you feel.

Late to the party but hello to all, anyway. Weather in Chicago was pretty nice this am. Had a chance to get in some biking and hiking. Focusing on trains now. More rain expected later. Not what we need right now but, hey, better than a droughty spring, I think.
