Saturday August the 1st
« on: August 01, 2020, 06:47:20 AM »
Hey Der Folks!

Hope you don't mind me starting things off today.  Up early to get the pork shoulder on the smoker for my Birthday bash.  Unfortunately, looks like rain today, so we may have to move the party into the garage.

Have a great Saturday all!

Morning all. Was able to attend an auction last night that was cancelled in April and won the item I wanted. I'll be surprised if Springfield happens next year, there's a show in NH that just cancelled the other day that was supposed to happen in 2 weeks.

Morning Steven, Dan and others,

Nothing much going on here today. Looks like the hurricane is headed our way with high winds and much rain.  Around midnight we'll see but it looks like it will just go up the Atlantic Coast.

Have a safe day ya'll.

Morning,

I am sitting out back sipping a cup of coffee and wondering if the rest of the day will be so perfect.

Be safe Tom.

Good morning.

Overslept for the first time in a while.  Odds and ends today, chasing a short in the electric fence, picking up round bales from the field, etc.

Hope everyone has a great and safe day!

Slept late.  Hope you Floridians stay safe with the storm heading your way.

'Morning, team!

Got my mouth watering Steve.  That will be some great dining, even if the weather poops out. And I hope your party celebration is even better.

Have no idea what's in store for us in SE PA today weather-wise.  I watch the forecast and promptly forget.  Right now though, 76 degrees, clear skies.  Still humid.  Came in from cooking bacon and sausage on the grill and broke a sweat in the cooler kitchen. Still beats snow and ice.

Tom, Bob, Judge, and all you central and north Floridians:  I know you need rain;  looks like you'll get some with plenty to spare.  Hope the high winds do little damage to your places other than palm branches

Morning everyone

Half the kids and grandkids stopped here yesterday on there way to the beach for the week.
The other should be shortly to pick up bedding and then they will be here.

Hopefully just Tuesday will be the rain day here in Jersey.  Don't want the kids to have a rainy week.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Got nothing of value to add.
If ya'll could see our regular weather woman on Philly's ABC local channel here, you'd know why Blazeman can't remember the weather forecast!
Coffee's good this morning: time to get moving.

Good Morning All,

Starting out with some outside prep work like draining the pool and putting things up.  Hopefully some layout time later.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning Folks;

I am with JusticeCity Tom when he says the morning coffee and weather are perfect. Suppose to be some thunderstorms later, we will see. Looks like our Florida house is going to get wet but should be fine. Ask ACL1504 Tom, most Floridians just make sure the cars are in the garage until the storm is at least a category 3. Thoughts of leaving don't happen unless it is a 4, but when they do try to keep up because I will be leaving fast.

Hope everyone stays safe. Till tomorrow.

Morning all,

I guess I should go outside, brave the ladder (I got a new one), and finish cleaning out the gutters before the rains from the hurricane get here.  :P  Aside from that a lot of workbench time is in store for this weekend.  ;)

Have a great one!

Good afternoon. I'm checking in late - I just made the drive from the Northern Hqtrs. of the S&S RR to the Main Hqtrs. Layout work later in the day but right now it's time to unpack and make the CFO happy since I've been gone for most of the week.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Stay safe - I hope that hurricane heads out to sea and takes the "Big Germ" with it.
