Sunday, August 2
« on: August 02, 2020, 06:41:21 AM »
Hi all!  A new week begins.

Already warm and humid.  No open windows this morning in SE PA.

Getting ready to head out to mass.  Good friends coming by for the afternoon.

All you Floridians, keep your heads down.

Stay safe, cool, dry, and smart.

Larry

Good morning Larry, and those arriving later.

It is 74 and humid here, too.  The sky is overcast and showers are forecast throughout the day.

Lots of odds and ends to catch up today.  Everyone have a great one!

Morning all,

So far all is well. No wind or rain and the sun is shinning. We'll know more later this afternoon. In any event, I have my water wings all ready to slip on.  8)

Have a safe day ya'll.

Good morning! On and off rain here. I'm going to spend the day working on the layout if all goes to plan. I hope everyone has a great day and stay safe.

Morning,

I feel like Tom Sawyer white washing a fence. Oh yeah I was. My parents sent me to a farm for a couple weeks where on of my jobs was to whitewash a wooden fence. It was great training.

Stay safe!

Morning all,

Like Tom said, sunny here this morning.   8)  I should have time to clean out the last gutter out front.  I did 2/3 of them yesterday but quit when I started to get overheated.  Shouldn't take too long to do.  Then it'll be off to the workbench to weather the storm.   ;)

Have a great one!

Good Morning,

Just waiting on the storm (slowed to 8 mph). I'll do some inside chores then layout time.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Low clouds. Misty rain. The plants are all saying it is a perfect day. People looking at house today so in and out I guess. Benchtime too I hope.

Tom....

Although the photo is marked 1927 that is about a 24 or 25 Buick.  It's great how the wood spoke wheels blow up and go away when they take a hit ! ! !

Here is a photo of my Grand father's younger brother in his 24 Buick and my mom's older brother when his Buick was new.
