Bob,

Fantastic build. The copper paint is a great idea for flashing. I'll definitely keep this info in mind.

Tom  ;D

Thanks Tom!  I find that the Folk Art Metallic paints work as well as the Polly Scale and Floquil paints and they're relatively cheap in comparison.  The only thing I haven't done with them is use them in the air brush.  Maybe I'll try that someday.  ;)

Looking really nice, Bob.

Coming on a treat.

Cheers, Mark.

Thanks Mark!  This is a really fun kit to build.  It has a number of interesting things going on.  Doug did a great job coming up with the design on this one.  :D

Enjoying this build, and your idea for the stucco which I used on Bandit's Roost.  Love the window treatments.  Thanks for all the photos and updates.

Mark

Thank you for the feedback Mark!  So glad to hear you found something useful in the thread.   ;D

Thanks Jerry!  I'm happy with how she looks so far.  The stucco first floor and clapboard upper levels is an interesting mix of building materials.   :)

Doug

Thanks for following along and the feedback Doug!  :)  Yes, I've used the Copper and Nickel Folk Art Metallics so far and I like them.  I also have a few more I haven't had the opportunity to use yet.  Tin Roof Rust, Galvanized Tin and Titanium Gold.  I can't find Gun Metal.  That one has been sold out everywhere I looked.  They have quite a few colors.  I'm intrigued by the Galvanized Tin.  I need to find a structure where I can give it a try.  :P

Thank you Opa George!  Much appreciated.  I'd love to see what you can do with those Folk Art paints and hear what you think of them.  They have a fairly extensive line of Metallic paint colors.   :o
