Ideal Hosiery
« on: September 09, 2017, 06:48:46 AM »
Earlier this year I attended one of Doug Foscale's workshops, which focused on building his Ideal Hosiery kit.  Picked up some great tips while building the kit in his new workshop.  Time didn't permit finishing the whole build during the workshop, so I finished it up at home (finally).  Here are a few pics of the finished product.  I'll probably tweak it some more once I plant it on the layout with detail parts, some more weathering around the bottom of the building, etc.

Mark,

The structure looks great. Love the sign and weathering. Very well done.

Mark,

Super job all around.   :D   It's going to look great when it's planted on a layout.

Great looking building.  If I lived closer I'd love to attend some of his clinics.

Thanks everybody for the compliments!  Doug's kits are always a fun build.  I'm currently working on his Oyster Hill kit (like for the past 2 months!).  I'll post some progress photos of that next.

Nice job, Mark. Did this one a couple of years ago when I was a club member. Took it with me.
