Good stuff...when Tom gets rolling, it's fun to watch.

John

John,

Thank you for checking in.  At times I wish I had two more of me.

Tom ;D

If you start eating the fried chicken & fries at Smoky Bones.....there will be two more of you!  ;D ;D ;D

Greg,

Funny man, those aren't the two I'm looking for or wish I had.

Tom ;D

I try..... ;)

I am glad I am not the only person that orders things that I already have and didn't remember.  I do that all the time.  Must be an age issue.

Steve,

I think it is an effort by model railroad hobby suppliers to get more sales! We all have this issue and age has nothing, well maybe a little, to do with it. I think that once you get immersed in this hobby, you have purchased a ton of stuff and your (our ) find it skills are poor. We all should take lessons from the library.  Look at this way, you go into a library, go to the dewey decimal card system, and voila, you find what you need. Perhaps, we could develop a railroad Dewey decimal system and life would be a lot simpler. Well, maybe. Tom and many other's of us would need a building as big as a library just to store all the stuff we have, OH ME, are we in trouble!!! Don't let your, mine or Tom's wife know about this idea. i'm in enough trouble as it is!!!

Steve,

Listen brother, this is my story and I'm sticking to it. It is just another Senior Moment which comes all to often these days.

However, I think I have most of my mental faculties although my babe would often disagree.

Heck, what do I know, I think everyday is Saturday! ???

Frank,

All I can say is thank the Good Lord my Babe doesn't read the forum. The railroad Dewey System is called youth which I lost many a year ago.

Age only gets us wisdom and not a better memory. Old age can't buy youth just like money can't buy poverty.

If I had to develop a railroad Dewey System, and use it religiously, I wouldn't get any modeling done.  So, lets leave it as it is, and we will leave the spouses in the dark, and just keep it as a Senior Moment.

I'm satisfied with how the bench work fits on the third level.

That said, my main focus for the next couple of weeks is to get LED's in the many structures on the second level.

I'm going to dedicate a few days to just making goose neck lamps. I'll need 15 goose neck lamps and 10 utility poles with LEDs and about 15 other regular LEDs for interior and loading dock lights.

I'm also actively working on thread other threads.

More Diet Pepsi please.
