I don't know Tom.....you may have to keep an eye open for some shady real estate developer from Tahope who'll want to buy farmer Perkins land and turn it into subdivisions.   ;)

Shady RE Developer.....not anyone I would know..... ;D ;D ;D
Shady Florida real estate?  I'm shocked!

Hi Tom,

I am glad your open house went well this past weekend.  I like the first two bridges better also.

Steve,

Thank you, we did have a great open house and much fun.  I'm going with the first two I showed.

Tom,
It struck me funny, watching you model bridges for a scene is like shopping for pickles in a grocery store... You have too many choices! ha.  I like the government approach to modeling.  Why have one, when you can have them all.  Leave no bridge unless it's over a river.  Thanx Thom...

Thom,

You are a funny guy. When one has been hoarding RR stuff as long as I have the bridges seem to multiply. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bob,

I don't know but I'm sure there are many shady characters in Tahope. As of now, the Perkins Farm is not for sale.

Been a while since I stopped in.  Looking really great Tom.  First 2 bridges are my pick as well.

Mark,

Happy you stopped by for a visit. I'm going with the first two and they seem to be the popular choice.

Dave,

I know your comment was tongue in cheek but here is a good one.

Trust me, it is all over the place down here.

Jimmy Hoffa even got in on one of the deals. He bought several hundred acres of swamp land near Cocoa Beach, Fl. He had white beach sand pumped in and then took aerial photos of the white sandy roads. Went north and sold the swamp lots with white beach sand roads to idiots in the north. The scam was referred to as Sun Valley Estates.

I did some work on the small lubritorium and oil storage building.

I made the interior pad for the oil storage area with .030 sheet styrene.

More in a few.

I filled in all the between the track areas with the same .030 styrene.

The interior slabs were painted with Floquil Concrete (not shown).

More in a few.

As previously mentioned, I painted both structures with Floquil Zinc Chromate Primer. The windows were painted with Floquil dark Green.

Roof exhaust vents were added.

And, the ballast was added next.

I'll have more to report tomorrow.

Tom,
Did you Iron those tracks?  I don't see a wrinkle or bend anywhere!  I thought you were a ACL modeler. Oh wait, you're an AS modeler, that's right! ;D  Gonna be a nice non-wrinkle scene when you're done bossman!  Thanx Thom...

You need a scene on your model RR of the discovery of Jimmy Hoffa!
