« on: January 03, 2018, 03:08:42 PM »
I promised to share my pictures from the 2017 Narrow Gauge Convention Layout Tours. I know, back in September, - I said when I got to it.  Well, the snow is a couple feet deep outside and getting deeper, so I'm starting to get to it.  Today, I'm starting the thread and sorting pictures. This will be a slow process. Please stay tuned.

My challenge build for 2018 will be the Monster Modelworks Brick Yard Tower.  I plan on starting with the base kit, but will be adding interior detail among other, yet to be determined, modifications.  I want to thank Dan - RAYMO - for getting this challenge started - our second annual. This build will find a home on my Superior & Seattle Railroad.

Good morning! I thought I would get things started while I'm waiting for the sun to come up. It's 24 degrees here this morning - Fall has found us. Some of us will be at the EXPO a week from today.  I hope everyone has a great day.

I tried to add more pictures to my F&SM thread tonight and I get this error when I try to add a picture to the gallery.

What do it mean??  Have I reached the end of the internet?

The 2017 ALTOONA PA EXPO / Questions?
« on: August 15, 2017, 01:32:56 PM »
Will there be any layout tours before, during, or after the EXPO?

I just finished making my reservations for the Narrow Gauge Convention in Denver.  I'm wondering how many forum members are planning on attending?  It looks like the Denver Team is putting together a nice program.  FYI - I also plan on attending the EXPO in November.  The CFO of the Superior & Seattle has signed off on the travel requests. ;)

Baggage Car - Daily Chat / Research help request - snow / rock sheds
« on: February 03, 2017, 07:51:11 AM »
Does anyone have pictures of snow / rock sheds that they would be willing to share?  On my Superior & Seattle Railroad I have a number of places where the track needs to be protected from rock slides / snow and I'm looking for pictures of prototypical and modeled sheds. Thank you in advanced for anything you would be willing to share.
