As you may know from a previous post about Morgan Hill Models, I have not gotten ANY satisfaction from this company.

In early December of last year, I placed two orders for kits from MHM. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, I contacted the company many times by email and phone calls to his answering machine. Never got a call back, but finally received a email with the explanation that he was having some issues with some of his suppliers.  Like a fool, I gave him more time.

Again after another reasonable time, I attempted to contact him again with no success.  I then made a post on this forum inquiring if anyone else was having problems with MHM.  I IMMEDIATELY received an email from Jon. He had a tale of woe; in the middle of a divorce, mother-in-law passing, etc., etc. BUT he promised that I would get my orders. ........ NOT!!!

I waited enough and emailed him back that I no longer wanted the kits but wanted my money refunded.  That was more than two weeks ago.

I have not heard anything from him as usual.

I out of about $350 and a lot of angst, I will chalk all this up to lesson learned.

I just hope that all of you will think twice before thinking of dealing with Jon and Morgan Hill Models.

Selling Kit... / HO Structure Kits For Sale
« on: February 17, 2017, 02:24:29 PM »

I have been hoarding HO scale kits in the hope that I would eventually build my layout.  I tried building some kits and realized that my eyes and hands were not able to easily build them.  I recently "discovered" On30 and find that I can work in this scale.  So I am putting my vast HO scale kit horde up for sale.  I will list them here for a week and then move them to Facebook and finally to Ebay.  I will list a bunch each week.  If interested, let me know at:  I will not refuse any reasonable offer. I will accept Paypal Friend & Family for payment. Shipping will be actual cost.  Any overage in postage will be refunded.

Well, well, well....finally made the "kick-off" post for one.  Now don't get used to this, O.K.?

Up late watching game one of the world series .... thirteenth inning ... tied 4-4 ..... I'm not a baseball fan, but being that the METS are playing, I decided to watch and root for them.  They are New Yorkers after all!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today and get to do what they love.

Here is one for you:

eBay Crazies / Four dollars for one plastic window?

I don't know if it's feasible to run a business selling odds and ends of plastic kits individually.  This guy consistently does just that.

Baggage Car - Daily Chat / Rainy Day Diorama ????
« on: June 13, 2015, 10:55:59 PM »
It just occurred to me that I have never seen a diorama of a "rainy day" in the city or anywhere.  Now I know it is impossible to "model" rain falling from the sky, but a wet sidewalk, street, industrial muddy compound, etc. that would be doable....right?

Has anyone done something like this or seen one?
