I love the matching pair.  They are going to look great together.

Thanks for stopping by and the kind words.  I have lots of exterior and interior detail plans for this one. I will also be detailing the Roundhouse at the same time. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

My story is from the single edge razor blade on a chopper.  I cut my thumb so deep and clean that I did't realize I was cut.  I was looking for the red paint bottle that was leaking all over my work bench and the floor before I realized it was me that was leaking. I knew I was cut when the water hit it.  The doctor that looked at it a few weeks later told me - you should have had stitches! Where is Dr. Jeff when you need him?

I requested they keep the paparazzi back 15 feet from the red velvet ropes.

Thanks Slim

That was a real pain in the A** this past year. It is amazing the following Jimmy D has.

Good morning! It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas here. I'm watching my Grandson this morning then the plan is to head across the state and attend an OPS session this evening. The sleigh is all gassed up and ready to go.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Does anyone know- does this just hold the room or is our credit card charged immediately?

Just a hold,  you have until three days before to cancel.

The locomotive works is headed back to the workbench to do the last round of fill, shape, cut and fit on the stone wall castings and will then be off to the paint booth. It will look a lot better without all the patch work.

Saturday, while Wayne Olson was over working on the layout with me (caught him working in the photographs), I did a test fit one more time on the layout before I cut the holes for the inspection pits. While I was doing that Wayne asked me when I was going to get rid of the ugly knob on the side of the building. It is a hold over from my old layout and I planned to get rid of it , so it was removed and the base board was modified to make room for the scrap yard that will be modeled beside the Locomotive Works.

Send Jimmy D. your logo and I'll bet we can get some shirts made. That picture of your hand would work well for the back of the shirt.

Hey All,
Just a couple quick pics today. I managed to get the stone walls cast, and for the most part painted. I used a base coat of concrete, than with a sponge, did spotting of various shades of gray, browns, that had been thinned.  Finished up with ink wash on the crevices, and on top. Lastly, gave a dry brush of bleached sand. Thanks for taking a look...

Very nice work - love the stone walls.

Good afternoon. I have Grandpa duty today.  Great way to spend the day - we played with the trains all morning. I'm catching up on some computer time during nap time. Donato it will only end when we run out of crazies - a big thank you for your service to all of those hard working people that are working to protect us both here and abroad.

I have found that the best way to find what I'm looking for is to go out and buy another one. You can never have enough tools!
