Nice job, Karl. Looking forward to the rest of it.

I have done few roofs that way. Don't use water based paint though or your roof will sag. And don't ask how do I know that  8).

Bob,

It looks great! I will use your thread as a reference when building mine.

I use Goo Gone to clean the scissors and for removing the sticky glue residue that store labels leave.

As for the carboard like material that Bar Mills is using, I think it is the Taskboard. It has some applications, like sidewalks or perhaps the stucco, but I am really not sure as to why Bar Mills is using it in applications where mat board would be a better choice. The worst is the brick. While building Cundy Cannery, I applied diluted white glue and primed and still had the little bricks falling off every time I touched them. The next time I encounter it I intend to try Minwax Wood Hardener.

Karl, I think Jan has a challenger for the throne of King of N scale. Looking good.

Roger,

It is very interesting project indeed. I bet this is how George created the masters for his walls.
You are well into the project, but for the future reference or others who may attempt similar project, here is another way of doing it.

Donato,

Sorry to hear that. It looks like it isn't too late to dispute the charges and get your money back.

The life got busy over the past few months and I even didn't get promoted like Jaime. I still have my workbench time and follow the forums somewhat, but posting is a luxury I can't always afford.
I finished the Graves nearly a month ago. Here are the final photos.

Frank,

Your layout is an absolute masterpiece. I truly regret missing on an opportunity to see it in person last summer.

Jim,

I like the colors. Hope you don't mind if I steal your color scheme. The window trick is neat.

Good morning!  I'm hard at work making EXPO dollars.  We did our taxes this weekend and I found out that when I work for EXPO dollars the Government gets more than the S&S RR.  Something wrong with this picture. I think I should be able to deduct the model railroad money as a contribution to the arts. I couldn't get that one past the CEO.  I hope everyone has a great day.

I thought there was hobby spending deduction. Did they get away with it?

I want to suggest The Weathering Magazine. The print version is very nice but is pain to get it. Shipping from overseas, etc. It is much easier if you take eRoute. It is available here https://pocketmags.com/us/the-weathering-magazine.

I have done masking both ways. I like the liquid mask better. Before it I used to cut small pieces of masking tape and mask the perimeter first, then the bigger part to cover the middle. That is some tedious though. Go with the liquid.

Didn't they also do upgrade kits for Dpm buildings also.

That is Paw of a Bear.
