I hope Bob finds the perfect buyer that will produce castings of the same quality that he produced for all those years.  The perfect molds are only one component to producing quality detail castings.  The spin casting process has a lot of variables that require a true craftsman's touch. If I bought the molds from either George or Bob I would want to include some consulting time from the master craftsman that made the process work. Just sayin!  I will be standing by with my check book to purchase some great castings.  It' the details!

Thanks again John

I would like to try the "oil and grease" color but the Michael's near me doesn't carry it.

Bob,
The oil and grease I have, and it is almost the same as the old Polly "oily Black"

Howdy,

It looks like Iím a day late and a dollar short. Nonetheless, congratulations to Jimmy D.

It would be fantastic to have both FSM and SRM castings available for all those newcomers to the hobby.

I wonder how this will affect eBay sales of the old kits. I know some bought the old kits only for the castings.

Good Morning All,

Supposed to be in the low 70's today. I survived the flooring job yesterday. It took us 9 hours but looked really nice. I was surprised that SIL paid me for helping him. Today I need to pickup and clean the layout room since I may be having a visitor tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great day.
My (late) brother, a union carpenter, came down to help me repair some water damage and replace the built-in bookcases.  I called the local union house to find out residential union scale, and wrote him a check for that amount.  "Don't want you to get into trouble with your union." :-)
