Hey All,
I am in the process of applying the trim, and stone foundation, should have pics in a couple of days. In the mean time, added these fine kits this week to my ever growing collection......(44 FSM, 13 South River, 3 Fos, 1 Sierra west)...

Okay all, back to building stuff. Here is the progress that I got to in the last couple of days. The main building with the exception of the roofs, and front office door is done. I have to try to print something up for the office door. The last photo is of a test I did using some acrylic inks I came across the other day at Jerry's Artarama. They look to have some promise on color variations. This sample has raw umber, and burnt umber applied to it. Thanks for taking a look...

The first picture came out really weird, looks like the building is sinking?

Such great work Loren!  You really keep the bar high for us scratchbuilders! BTW, what did you use to make the latch bar on the freight door with the smaller door in it? that came out really nice!

Bob,
Thanks so much. If only I could take better pictures, with the right lighting, it would look even better. The Bar I believe was a piece of 1/32, or 3/64 sq basswood. The clamps are from .002 brass just bent as close to size as I could get. I painted grimy black, and used my homemade rust wash on the clamps. I try to make due with whatever is at hand.

Donato,
Thanks....I wonder what you all will say if I do a crappy job on something? Hopefully you will be truthful...Of course by my own standards, you would never probably see it...

Back again all, Just a little progress on the roofs. Also got the main door finished and installed. The last pic, is another nice jewel added to the collection.

Very nice work.  Are we going to see a build thread on Treadwell's soon?  I have a place all picked out on my layout for the Treadwell's kit that I recently purchased - it's on my build list.
