Kipsley,

What a wonderful project. I have a VR engine that I purchased over the internet. While not representative of any engine in the US, I like the VR herald because it is quite similar to the old Erie Logo. With a little knife work, the VR logo was removed and the Erie logo attached. I get a little ribbing , but its my railroad and it looks great.

Will be following your build. Best of luck.

Hey. Wow!!!! That's one of our old B Class locomotives. I know them well as they used to pull around the country carriages before the electrics went through. I made one in HO scale sometime ago from 3mm wood and bits and bobs and gave it away to an admirer who used to work for Victorian Railways. I do intend to make another as i have purchased a second hand "body" from Ebay. I also must find out where i can get VR decals from. :)
