Vehicles for the Delaware & Northern RR
« on: April 06, 2017, 02:20:27 PM »
Most of the vehicles I model date from the first quarter of the 20th Century, though I often get distracted and stray from my chosen modeling era.

First up is a Bates crawler.  This was built from a resin kit by Rusty Rail Rick.

Second is a Jordan Model TT gasoline tank truck.  This was built based on one done by Chester Fesmire, and combines the gasoline tank from a Jordan Model A with the TT truck chassis.

Greg, Karl, and Jeff,  thank you for your kind words.
I realize now that I need to take a couple photos of each of my vehicles.  The photos show little mistakes in paint color separation, or where it has simply worn off in storage, things that I did not notice even with my Optivisor.  Glad I started posting some of my vehicles, need to work on some touch-ups before I post more.

Looking good Jerry, I built one of the tank trucks for a small junk scene.

Andy,
Thanks for your comment. The cool thing about the Jordan vehicles is they can be used in so many ways.

Jordan horse and buggy, and a pair of Preiser wagons.  Sorry the lighting isn't better for the Preiser wagons.  I'll try to post a better shot when I finish the horses.

This is a common wagon used for loose hay.  I scratched the wood superstructure over an old AHM frame.

Jerry,

Wow, I love the work you did on these vehicles for the D&N. Fantastic job my friend, just wonderful. I really love the hay wagon. Great job.
