Looks like a great kit.  Starting tomorrow...any tips?

FOS kits are great, just follow the instructions..... Remember to brace brace....
This ones on my short list to get n build...

I have been fooling around with crackle paint on scrap wood in preparation for this kit.  Just can't get it to work.  Ideas?
