Title: Swede's Fix-It Shop: CCK
Post by: Dave K. on February 05, 2015, 09:40:38 PM
Felt like a quick li'l something to occupy a couple of evenings before the next bigger project. As currently planned, this little guy will help fill a back alley space in Centerville, so much of it will be obscured. I'm thinking a tattoo shop or cigar joint. Maybe "Havana Joe's" or "Tatts by Mona" or some such.

The package and pilot model from Jeff's website...

Walls distressed, braced, and stained. Well, 4:30 barges in pretty early so that's it for tonight. Hobby on!

What else to do when you're awake a half-hour before you need to be? Paint corner trim!  This will be white on green, thought the selection of green will have to wait 'til after work. "Don't wanna go to school!"  :-[

Thanks for adding another build thread Dave.  I like the looks of this little structure.  I'll have to remember to pick one up at the EXPO.   :D

Thanks for checking in, gents. It's a neat little design. Reminds me of Wicked Wanda's but without the goofy proportions. I always thought that kit looked liked something off of a Disneyland street.

The building is small enough to fill that space that needs just a little activity. Since it's going in a back alley I think I'll keep the ruddy-red roof to keep it from visually disappearing completely.
