Title: KC's Workshop louie's Lobster Shack
Post by: postalkarl on March 01, 2015, 03:44:40 PM
Hi All:

My next build will be KC's Workshop Louie's Lobster Shack.

I'm reading the instructions now. Looks like a pretty simple kit. I will post a photo of the contents later.

Karl,
The kit looks a lot like the building that Troels Kirk build on his layout in ON30

Mike wow it sure does but.... It actually was inspired by a place called Day's Take Out... This is the pic I started with and changed it up here and there

Karl,
What color did you go with on the walls
Ken,
I have a book called The Maine Coast Picture Book by Ruth Rhoads Lepper that I bought back when Troels 1st showed his structure
The Lobster shack sketch is on the front cover.
As you know after seeing Karl's start to the kit & was able to see what he was building I ordered a kit from you today. (better thank Karl for another sale)
The lobster shack was always a cool structure on Troels layout & now with the upcoming seaside layout that I am planning this little building will be right at home. The sketch shows the building on pilings & tables sitting outside to eat your lobster & let the sea spray hit you in the face

Karl,
Sorry to jump in & take away from your build
