Here are some pics from Bob Mitchell of his version of FSM's Emporium Seafood, soon to be installed on Rob Seckler's layout. One of the nicest builds of this great kit.
It is a AWESOME BUILD
Thanks Bob
You are a great friend
Great build. Love the signage. :)
Jeff
VERY cool! Love the color choices. One of the best builds of this kit I have ever seen.
Very impressive.
I have to say, this IS one of the nicest builds I have seen. Great job and that for sharing.
What a piece of work. (Bob that is. The build is really nice too ;D).
Mine made it off the shelf and next to the work bench but hasn't been started yet. Too many neat kits to build. Not enough hours in the day.
Definitely a great build. I saw it at Seckler's over the weekend. Bob M. continues to amaze with his level of detail.
Wow! Great detailing.
What everyone else said! First class build. We need pictures of it on the layout!
Bob Mitchell is a great modeler and a fantasticly funny man. He is one of my model railroad heroes.

Wowsers! :D
Fantastic detail and weathering, Bob.
Fodder for a clinic at the 2015 Expo, by any chance?
Very nice, indeed!
Hal
What a beautiful piece of work !!! Wow !!
Everyone needs to attend a Bob Mitchell clinic - if you get a chance just do it.
Robert,
I agree, it is an awesome build. Here's my awesome story of the first time I met Mitchell.
We were both on the Strasburg Tour while attending Expo 2012. We started talking and after the tour we decided to go to dinner in Strasburg. We met up with another gentleman and the three of us went to dinner. Mitchell and the other guy seemed to know each other. I don't remember the other guy's name but he was the one taking the photos at the awards dinner.
Anyway, Mitchell was asking me what business I was in. I told him I was a retired Lieutenant from Orlando and he started asking me all these LEO type questions. After about 10 minutes, Mitchell looks at me and says quite bluntly, "Oh my God, you are boring me"!
I looked back and was thinking did this guy who has only known me for less than an hour tell me I was boring him?
Well, I mean to tell you this is the truth! I looked back at him and simply said, " Then stop asking me those dumb ass boring questions"! True story, ask Mitchell. It was only later that I learned he was the "real" Bob Mitchell I had heard so much about.
As many of you know, I pretty much say what I think and apparantly so does Mitchell! We both had a great laugh over that one.

Beautiful piece of work Bob. I've seen dozens of your structures over the
past few decades and this one out does them all. You are one of the best.
BTW - How long did it take to build Emporium?
