Title: Twin Whistle Sign and Kit Co.
Post by: Dave K. on January 10, 2016, 08:44:21 AM
Is anyone here familiar with Allen's work?  He does these incredible firehouse kits. I just received one this week and hope to start it soon. Check out the new Chicago firehouse he's working on...it's on Twin Whistle's Facebook page.

Hi Dave K:

I knew Allen pretty well when I was in the HO sign and billboard business. He's a really nice guy and makes some nice kits. I have the diner and Frenchie's Bar and Grill. It is a model of a real Juke Joint.

I also built the diner several years ago. Mince kit and a good addition to the layout. I have a firehouse kit somewhere in my stash(a term from my wife Rea's quilting vocabulary.  Jim

Thanks for the input...looks like I'll have to wait 'til the upcoming three-day weekend to get started. I'll post pix.
