I always love seeing your work! Paint seems just faded enough to show the chalking that I remember from years ago, before the dawn of latex. Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Tom ;D
Hi Tom:
Thanks appreciate your compliment. Thanks.
Karl
Hi Guys:
I detailed the back platform. Here's a photo.
Karl
Hi Guys:
Working on the rear upper office addition to the station. Also painted up the part for the laser cut hand trucks. There are 4 in the kit but I damaged one of the frame shuffling parts around. Here's a photo of the part to the hand trucks.
Hi Guys:
I decided to deviate from the instruction a little bit here. Instead of waiting till the walls were assembled and the sub roof was on I decided to install my corbels while the wall were flt. Just seemed easier than assembling it and turning the building upside down to install the corbels.
Karl
Hi Guys:
I actually assembled 1 of the laser cut hand-trucks. Went way better than I thought it would. Just be very careful not to drop any of the parts as they are very small.
Karl
Hi:
Opps one handle is a little crooked but they are so small you can't see it on the model.
Karl
H:
3 hand trucks are assembled. 2 are on the model one on each platform. The 3rd will go on the other platform when it is built.
Karl
Hi Guys:
Here's 2 finished walls for the upper rear office.
Karl
Very nice. What type of paint did you use on this kit?
Hi Trainguy:
Thanks for the compliment. The following paints were used on this kit:
1) Floquil Depot Olive, Zinc Chromate primer And Earth.
2) Krylon Spray Red Oxide primer. Almost an Exact match for Floquil Zinc Chromate primer. Roof and windows and doors are sprayed with it.
3) Apple Barrel #20526 Country Gray for dry-brushing.
That's about it except for A&I washes.
Karl
Still looking good .... and I'm still tagging along.
Hey Donato:
Thanks for the compliment. Much appreciated.
Karl
Hi All:
Rear office walls are assembled and the sub roof is attached. On to the roof & dormers. Here's a photo.
Karl
Looking good, Karl. I wish I had funds for the kit...
Vilius
Hi Vilius:
Thanks appreciate the compliment.
Karl
Hi All:
Here's a progress photo. I have the roof installed on the rear upper office building. Also added the finial for fun. It is not in the kit. Dormers are next. Then the bump out for the office.
Karl
Looks better and better with each new progress photo!!!
Hi Donato:
Thanks appreciate your compliment.
Karl
Karl
I was away for a few days and you built half a city. Looking good my friend.
Looking great! Jim
Hi Karl,
You've made a lot of progress in a short period of time and it all looks terrific! :D
Looking great pal. Of course you are taking your time- you have been at this one for a month!
Hi Bob, Jim. Bob and Mike:
Hey. Thanks for the great compliments. much appreciated.
Karl
Hi All:
Here's a progress photo. Finished the upper rear office this afternoon.
Karl
Very nice!
Hi John:
Thanks appreciate your compliment.
Karl
At the risk of being repetitive, your work is a delight to see and watch the progress Karl.
Hi Jan:
Thanks for your compliment. Much appreciated as always. The structure itself is finished. It is sitting on its 3/4" X12" X 30" (not plywood) Shelving as home Depot was out of plywood. Tried Lowe's and they didn't have good plywood so I bought this stuff. It Is very straight. May start using it all the time. Oh yeah and cheaper to.
Here's a photo.
Karl
Hi All:
Building is finished and mounted on it's base. Scenery is done under rear platform and the small platform at the rear end. Also I decided not to put track on my street side as Doug did. That side will be for truck only. The other side for freight cars.
