I finished this build last week. It was my first yellow box. It is the smallest one I have and I thought I should start at the bottom and work my way up. Construction is pretty straight forward, the platform joists and rafter tails are fairly time consuming. Even with the bracing the office roof warps quite a bit.

Nice job on your first FSM kit. The Freight Depot was my second one. Can't believe it's almost 40 years and I still have the structure.
Campbell figures are a bit out of scale on the big side but they are still available.

Thanks for the kind words, constructive criticism is also appreciated. I know the photographs show me things that my eyes don't always pick up. I have learned so much from browsing around on this forum. I am hoping that it will help me improve my modeling skills and bring them to the next level.
For my next project I am looking at either Campbell (Quincy Engine House or Dewitt's Depository) or perhaps a Builders In Scale (Weiry and Sons or GW Nichols). I have built a few Campbell structures, but Builders in Scale will be new for me. Any opinions or observations are more than welcome.

*a note about my moniker. In my youth I would spend my summers as a geologist/paleontologist in a tent in the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming. The pile of rocks that was the object of my study was known as the Willwood Formation. I have used Willwood as an alias ever since.
Thanks for sharing your first yellow box build with us - good job! If you haven't glued the roof down yet take it off and cut some 1/4 square strip wood braces and glue it down straight with weights. George is not kidding when he says brace the back sides of the walls and roof cards. Painting both side of the roof card can also help on your next build. Thanks again for sharing your build - I'm looking forward to watching your next build.
