Hi all.
This one has been my first Bar Mills model. The Captain Jacks HO scale.
By the moment is only the finished kit. The idea is build it over a small base or create a bigger diorama with other items that I have on the stash.

Very nice work!! Looking forward to seeing much more from our Spanish connection!!
Super nice work on that kit!
I'm doing similar, in that I'm building kits for just a large diorama, not a model rail layout.
More small city/town scenes.

Very well done! Thanks for sharing. :D
Bravo Polux....keep them coming.
The structure looks great and I especially like the weathered doors. Great job.
Tom ;D
Looks great! The padlock on the door is a nice touch.

Good looking build. Nice details.
Jim
Very nice weathering.

Neat structure and great work Polux. 8)
Great colors and weathering Polux, well done
Great job overall, but the peeling paint on the doors is spectacular.
John
Thanks chaps! ;)
Very nice build. The only thing that I notice is that I think that the two small 4 pane windows are upside down. The horizontal strip is the sill and belongs on the bottom. Not a criticism, just an observation.

Jaja!! It's true!!!
Ufff....the mistake is mine! In Europe is habitual to see them on this position :)
I will try to solve the horizontal strip with putty....or just hide the mistake with some vegetation, maybe.....?
Thanks for your comments!

The windows are no big deal. Probably only one person in a hundred would even notice. The only reason I noticed was because I built Captain Jack's a couple of years ago........and did the exact same thing! I was able to slide a #17 exacto blade between the siding and window and pop them out and turn them rightside up. It's no big deal to break one, (I did), as they are Tichy #8068 and easy to replace. I painted my Captain Jack's the same color as the one in the instructions, but I like yours much better. Nice choice of color!
Here's a link to those Tichy windows: https://www.tichytraingroup.com/Shop/tabid/91/c/ho_framed-windows/p/8068/Default.aspx

Hey!! Thanks for your help and advice!!
And for the link, of course!!
Oh! There is some way... that I can see your build? :)
PD: 1#I painted in "red", because they said (instructions) that the original one was painted on this colour :)
2# Tomorrow I will try to remove the windows, and solve the problem :)
Cheers

I have not tried to post a picture here yet, but used to post them in my builds on the old forum. I will take a couple pics of my Captain Jack's and try to post them here in the next day or two. Meanwhile, here's a link to a scratchbuild I did of the FSM Franklin Watchworks, over on the old forum. Pics are on page 1 and page 3, and if you click on them, a larger view opens: http://kitforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6861

That's an excellent work! The paintwork is magnificent!
Thanks for sharing ;)
Here are the pics I promised to post of my Captain Jack's build (I hope):

Nice clean build.
BTW: I never knew Bromo Seltzer cured so many things.
Nice build , the yellow is a bit too clean for my taste, but the roof , signs and ramp look really good.
Nice work George! (are you gonna break into any of those FSM kits? Ha ha!)
Bob C.
nice work
Thanks everybody for the nice comments. But I don't want to hijack Pol.lux's thread. He asked me to post some pics of my Captain Jack's.
The Captain Jack's will be part of a large waterfront diorama I'm working on. There are around 15 buildings and most of them are very weathered, but I wanted one or two to look like they had some recent maintenance and paint, hence the "newer" look for this building.
Bob, I intend to dive into some FSM's soon. (If I live long enough).
